About Susanne -- Her Full Bio
Born in Vienna, Austria. Cello studies at the Vienna Conservatory (modern cello) with Josef Luitz and at the Tirol State Conservatory in Innsbruck (baroque cello) with Max Engel.
Master degree in cello performance as well as a teaching degree from the Vienna Conservatory. While in Vienna freelance cellist and teacher at the Vienna Conservatory Prep School.
Numerous concerts as soloist, in chamber music and with orchestras (both modern and baroque/classical) throughout Austria and Europe as well as in Asia.
In the Boston area since 1997, performing as a freelance player , playing chamber music and solo recitals and teaching at several schools (New England Conservatory School of Preparatory and Continuing Education, Dana Hall School of Music, Rivers School Conservatory) as well as in her private studio.
Member of Trio Orione (violin, cello, piano) from 2003 to 2007.
Currently member of Trio con Anima. Founder of the Vienna Waltz Ensemble (flute, violin, cello, piano), member of Trio con Brio (two flutes and cello). Former assistant principal cellist of the Symphony New Hampshire Orchestra, NH.
