Trio con Brio - Two Flutes and Cello
Trio con Brio was founded in 2004 by Dana Hall School of Music faculty members Susanne Friedrich, Laura Wilkins and Wendy Vignaux. Originally formed to explore the chamber music repertoire for two flutes and cello, the trio soon began playing weddings and other functions, including the Gala opening of the Shipley Center, Dana Hall's sports complex. Trio con brio performs regularly throughout the Metro West region, including recitals at the libraries of Newton, Needham, Natick, and Framingham as well as appearances on the Dana Hall faculty recital series. In January of 2010, the trio premiered Trio Suite composed for Trio con Brio by Boston composer John Tarrh.
